The Knitted Singularity is a procedural Abstract Bloom FX created entirely in Houdini, where complex digital structure emerges from simple mathematical logic.
The turquoise crochet-like layer is generated using a Marching Squares algorithm, forming woven patterns that thread and expand over time. The magenta bloom structure uses CHRamp-driven shaping, animating masks to simulate evolving petals and organic growth from the inside out.
This piece explores how art and computation collide, bringing life to geometry through procedural evolution, a singularity stitched from code.
